What a fun day it was for the Philippine Archies! Everyone was excited to finally get their hands on David Archuleta’s latest album, BEGIN. .
Astroplus and Archuleta Philippines partnered in launching BEGIN. in the Philippine shores. Astroplus did not disappoint! Front and center at the Astroplus branch in the newly opened Robinsons Magnolia mall in Quezon City was a majestic display of BEGIN. posters/tarps, BEGIN. CDs and througout the launch David’s music and videos were played inside the store.

1 – Welcome Remarks
2 – Minor contest: Early bird / First to purchase BEGIN. onsite ; PRIZE: DA BEGIN. wall clock
3 – Album Gifting: Pick 40 giftees from 496 entries from Twitter and Facebook (mechanics were posted in Archuleta Philippines last August 17)
4 – Merch Raffle – For all attendees ; PRIZES were:

Being a newbie in the Archuworld I would just like to commend and congratulate Archuleta Philippines for such a grand and successful launch! You guys really know how to show support to David! I would have joined in on the fun unfortunately had some business to attend to. Anyway I have already claimed my pre-ordered copy of Begin from Astroplus Makati on August 24. Thanks Lorms but unfortunately the branch where I pre-ordered the CD did not have any posters for giveaways.
Anyway the CD is enough for me. I was the first one to claim the Begin album from Astroplus Makati, they even had to check if they had it already. But I insisted that it has been announced that the CD would be available by the 24th and sure enough they had it in stock. I am familiar with Archuleta Phil. since that was one of the first sites I checked when I “rediscovered” David last February. I also follow you on twitter (@tonette913 is my handle). Thanks again for always keeping us updated on the happenings in Archieland. I know it takes a lot of time and effort on your part but then again it is so worth it if its for DA. (“,)
